Train's POV:

She was dazzling… brighter than the stars in the sky.

She was a light I’ve never glimpsed before until just a couple days ago. The strange woman who’s lured onto my roof by a bottle of milk and some moon-gazing. Like the cat that’d come every night. She was the epitome of nonsense, yet all she said made perfect sense in a way. It broke everything I’d known in my merciless grandeur as an assassin.

“Hah, I guess you’re slower than I’d thought, Train!”

I smiled. She’d forged ahead once again. Too far for me to reach. Yet I still try to catch up.

“I’m pretty sure I know my own speed-”

CRASH!

“OUCH!” I cried wincing as I almost fell head over heels.

Somehow a garbage can had ended up beneath my feet sending me stumbling forward. She smirks, her flower patterned yutaka waving in the night breeze.

“Klutz.” ,She said with a laugh that came to an abrupt stop as I took the lead once again. My black coat flutters and I truly feel like I’m flying right now. I feel free. Suddenly she runs past me and between her feet scurries a white kitty. Now it was her turn to stumble.

“Don’t laugh.” She pouts as I leave her in the dust again.

“I’m not laughing…” I lied with a chuckle and gazed up into the night sky.

“I’ll go on ahead now Saya!” I teased shooting a taunting look back at her.

“Not for long you aren’t!”

Like a cat and mouse playing a game for forever yet in the moment… only they are joyfully running in a circle, chasing the other’s tail. Actually it seems as though I’m the one foreverly chasing her in all her splendor, because I suppose I can say that she’s inspiring me through all that she is. I think I can handle this little fleeting game every once in awhile. Actually, scratch that… I want this little game to go on for the rest of my life. I stared at her and all her brilliance, grinning.

As long as she was with me, I had everything.

And then just like that she was gone.

...

“You’ve been quiet for a while now…” Sven notes as I stared out of the car’s window. I blinked, as my troubling thoughts tumbled out of my head in an instant. I straightened up in my seat and cocked my head, causing the bell on my neck to ring a small jingle.

“Then do you prefer me to do karaoke and sing?” I teased with my eyes wide and bright. Not as bright as she was but this’ll have to do.

“Go back to being quiet.” Eve commands from the back seat, looking over the rim of yet another thick book. I rolled my eyes and placed my feet up against the windshield. Man, what a killjoy.

“So...what were you thinking about?” Sven asks as me, adjusting the cigar that drooped at the corner of his mouth. I settled down into my seat and sighed. The sun was making itself quite scarce today in the fall air. It hid behind the large ominous cloud that cast a dark shadow over my shimmering eyes.

“Just stuff… “ I murmured, angling my head towards the sky. With a sad smile escaping it’s way onto my face.

Saya... WHY YOU BE DEAD?!
